Before and after every job, we record the instrument and run the audio through an analysis tool we built in-house. It maps out the buzzes, dead spots, wolf notes, and where the tone is thin.
It doesn't decide anything for us. It just makes the problem visible, so we can be sure we're fixing the actual fault instead of guessing — and so we can prove the instrument came back better than it went out.
An old set of tuners that still hold pitch stay put. Original wood stays wherever it possibly can. Reversible before permanent, always.
